Douglas Fir is a light reddish-brown in colour hardwood with prominent growth rings and much lighter coloured sapwood. Easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Having a medium texture, this wood is tough, moderately hard and has a resilient straight grain

Each Social Pod is handmade using quality Hardwood timber and 6mm Twinwall Polycarbonate sheeting within the roof window sections, Polycarbonate is used for conservatories, car ports and canopies, covered walkways and greenhouses. Each social Pod all manufactured onsite in our own Wiltshire warehouse.
